What this site is

Padding The Meters is a World of Warcraft coaching tool. You paste a Warcraft Logs URL, we analyze your casts and compare them against top-ranked parses, and we help you improve your rotation execution. Everything on this site exists to serve that purpose.

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Acceptable use

This site is for World of Warcraft content only. Do not use it for any other purpose.

Do not:

Attempt to hack, exploit, or disrupt the site or its infrastructure.
Submit content that is abusive, harassing, or disrespectful toward other users.
Try to access accounts, data, or features you are not authorized to use.
Use automated tools to scrape or abuse the service.
Post content unrelated to World of Warcraft.

Basically: be a normal person, use the site for what it is, and we will never have a problem.

Content moderation

We reserve the right to remove any guide, comment, rating, or other content at any time if we determine it to be disruptive, disrespectful, off-topic, or in violation of these terms. We do not owe advance notice before removing content.

Account suspension and banning

We can suspend or permanently ban any account at any time. We will not do this unless you are genuinely causing problems. If you are using the site in good faith, you have nothing to worry about.

Battle.net account linking

You can choose to link your Battle.net account to Padding The Meters. This is entirely optional. When you do, we collect your Battle.net BattleTag and your characters level 60 and above across all game versions. This data is used to create your WoW persona on the site, so guides and comments you write can display your character name, class, and avatar.

We do not access your Battle.net account beyond what you authorize during the linking flow.

Supporter subscriptions

Padding The Meters offers optional paid supporter tiers (Level 1, 2, and 3). Subscribing gives you cosmetic customization options on the site, including profile borders, name colors, and other visual features that let you stand out in comments and on guides. Your support directly funds the continued development of the site.

Supporter subscriptions are recurring. Your payment method will be charged on a recurring basis until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your profile. Cancelling stops future charges but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

Cosmetic perks are tied to an active subscription. If you cancel, perks will remain active until the end of your paid period, then revert.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
